Tuition and Fees

Dual Credit tuition for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 is $53 per credit hour ($159 for a 3 credit-hour course).  This is a savings of $322 per credit hour (a savings of $966 for a 3 credit hour course) from undergraduate tuition.*  Students who qualify for, and participate in, the EKU Dual Credit Program are eligible to receive additional tuition scholarships, while in high school, that will even further reduce dual credit tuition costs based upon qualifying ACT scores and high school GPA's.  Students are responsible for the full cost of textbooks and parking permits if applicable.

EKU Dual Credit Scholarships for Fall 2018 - Spring 2019

Academically strong high school students may qualify for free dual credit tuition. All Dual Credit applications will be reviewed for scholarship qualification.  EKU Dual Credit scholarships will be applied after KY Dual Credit Scholarships (administered through KHEAA).

EKU Now! Dual Credit Scholarship– EKU Dual Credit students with a 3.0 high school GPA, plus minimum ACT scores of 18 in English, 19 in Math, 20 in Reading and a 21 Composite are eligible to receive free dual credit tuition for one of the two allotted courses per semester.

Whitlock Scholar Candidate Dual Credit Scholarship– EKU Dual Credit students with a 3.5 unweighted high school GPA, plus minimum ACT scores of 18 in English, 19 in Math, 20 in Reading and a 23 Composite are eligible to receive free dual credit tuition for the two allotted courses per semester.

• A Free 3-hr. course ($53/cr. hr. dual credit scholarship) = $1125 in tuition savings*   
• A 3-hr. course at $53/cr. hr. = $966 in tuition savings*
