EKU Dual Credit - August Update

Welcome to EKU Dual Credit!!!

As you finish up your second week of classes, here are some helpful tips to start your semester out on a positive note!

Textbooks– Hopefully, you have your textbooks by now.  If not, theeasiest way to order them is through EKU Direct under Student Services and Financial Aid, then click on Registration, then click on Order Your Books Online.

Dual Credit Scholarships- Your scholarships have not yet been assigned to your account.  It will likely be late September before we receive the State Dual Credit Scholarship information. Once we assign the state scholarships, EKU Dual Credit scholarships will then be assigned.  Make sure you check the scholarship criteria in your packet with the information on your transcript so you know whether you qualify for an EKU Dual Credit scholarship. Once Dual Credit scholarships have been applied, we will notify you and request that you check your account for accuracy.

Account Balances– If you do not expect to receive a scholarship to pay for your course, or if you have a digital text invoice that needs to be paid, you can do so through your EKU Direct account or by following the instructions on the bottom of the Student Accounting web page:

You may occasionally see that you have been charged a late payment fee or special usage fee.  Late payment fees and the special usage fees do not apply to Dual Credit students and will be adjusted periodically in your account.

Labor Day– September 4th is Labor Day and EKU is closed for this holiday.  Make sure you keep up with your course work through the holiday!  You may have assignments due over the holiday weekend.

Enjoy Your Labor Day and Go Colonels!
