EKU Dual Credit Student Update

Here are a few important notes to keep in mind as you progress through the Spring 2018 semester!  Keep up the good work!

Progress Reports – First quarter progress reports should be available to students the week of February 19 in EKU Direct.  Please check your EKU Direct Account for this information.  If you need assistance, please contact the Dual Credit office.

Account Balances – Many students have been checking their financial information through EKU Direct, as requested during the registration session, and have found that their accounts have not been updated with their spring 2018 scholarships. Dual Credit scholarships have not yet been applied, but we have high hopes that they will be applied before the end of the month.  We will email students when accounts are correct.  At that time, we ask that you check your account and verify that scholarships have been applied correctly.

Textbook Charges– Please check your EKU Direct account to see if you have any digital textbook charges. Remember, neither EKU nor state scholarships cover textbook charges and they will need to be paid. Digital textbook charges are associated with CMS 100 and MUH 171. There may be other courses with textbook charges as well.  Please check your account.

Invoice Payment – Payments can be made by Check, Cash or Money Order at the cashier window on the 2nd floor of the Student Services Building. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover payments may also be made online by logging into your EKUDirect account and clicking on "Make a Payment". Check and Money Order payments may be mailed to the following address:

Eastern Kentucky University
P.O. Box 639244
Cincinnati, OH 45263-9244

For more information on how to pay your invoice check out:  http://studentaccounting.eku.edu/

Online Classes – Remember to check in daily for updates!  Also, check your email!

Inclement Weather – Information about EKU closings and delays due to inclement weather can be found on the home page www.eku.edu.  If you do not see a specific weather related message and see no closing/delay information on television, there is likely no closing or delay.  For inclement weather delay schedules, go to http://www.eku.edu/weather.   A two hour delay does not mean all classes are delayed by 2 hours. Check the inclement weather schedule for specifics.

EKU Spring Break – Spring Break is March 12th – March 16th. Classes will resume March 19th.   Be sure to check your assignment schedule and/or syllabi.  Some instructors have assignments due during or immediately after Spring Break.
